Rolled Melamine & Vinyl

Rolled melamine is laminated with a press that has two rollers that activate the glue of a pre-glued paper to a substrate (usually particleboard or mdf) with heat and pressure. The papers have a top coat that provide added durability and a slight texture.

In comparison to thermally fused melamine (TFM), rolled melamine is less expensive especially in one sided panels. This product does not need a balancing paper applied to the back and reveals the raw substrate (particleboard or MDF) in a one side panel.  Rolled melamine is easier to cut and machine though it is not as durable as a fused melamine and not as resistant to standing water.
